Covering Flux Base is made from silica and limestone as main raw materials, and fused in EAF, and finally formed into fused cryptocrystalline glass material; It is the perfect protective slags base material in metallurgical continuous casting, and also a raw materials of welding rod’s coating.

Covering Flux Base includes premelted type and premelted & water quenching type.

With advantages of improving scorification equality, no dust and environmental protection

Main chemical: calcium sillicate

CaO: 36-49%; SiO2: 36-45%; Al2O3: 4.5% max; Fe2O3: 0.5% max; MgO: 7% max; Na2O: 9% max; F: 16% max; BaO: 12% max; P/S: 0.05% max etc.

Other specification can be adjusted by customers’ requirement
